is a visual artist based in Carson City, NV. She is currently working towards her MFA at Sierra Nevada University in Incline Village, NV. Rubio is expected to Graduate in 2021. She is able to embed herself into different cultures and subcultures to give these people a voice, and provides viewers a glimpse into these worlds. Some of Alejandra’s most recent work includes photographs covering brothels- including the Bunny Ranch, fitness, protests, and Native American ceremonies. Her work has been published in local newspapers, which include First Nation Focus, Norther Nevada Business Weekly, and Nevada Appeal.
